Booked through a hotel aggregating website for a small saving over hotel's normal booking price. Normal price is so cheap that this was hardly worthwhile! I recommend just calling the hotel direct. I needed to stay on St. Kilda Rd because of an early morning appointment at the US Consulate. There is no more convenient or proximate hotel than this one. It is directly across the road. I booked the cheapest room because I only needed a bed and a shower. These small rooms are tiny, a little bit worn, but clean and perfectly fine for one person for a short stay. I think charging extra for wireless internet in a hotel in 2016 is bad form. In real terms internet access is very nearly free these days - it's not 2005 any more. Having said that, I understand that the room price is very low, so inclusions are going to minimal by necessity. My only real complaint is that the floor lobby/hallways outside the elevators were dark, a bit dingy and fairly poorly ventilated. There was an offputting smell on both floor 10 and 6 (I stayed on both floors on 2 trips and there were different smells!). The available breakfast is fine and good value. The desk staff and, in particular, the concierge were very friendly and helpful. I really felt that I should have tipped the concierge for his help but I resisted because this is Australia and he is paid to do the job he's doing!
We stayed in town as we were going to the theatre and the location was close to transport and the position of the motel suited us. We would stay there again.
Great hotel, an easy walk to Albert Park lake and convenient to city via the tram or a good walk. Fresh air in rooms with opening windows. Bedroom space could be larger.
A night in Melbourne to relaxed eat and drink. We did all 3
This hotel was everything we wanted: extremely courteous reception, delightful apartment, good parking, great location and we even received an upgrade. Our hotel of choice for an overnight stop in the city
The hotel was in a great location with easy access to CBD and Sporting facilities! I will definitely be staying here again! The rooms were clean and comfortable and was great value for money!
The check in staff were very obliging and everything as far as comfort was to the highest standard
Nice hotel staff very helpful when checking in even though we were quite early, one bedroom apartment was quite comfortable, although bedroom was quite small so we had to keep the suitcase out in the lounge room - still plenty of room. further out of the CBD than we have usually stayed but still very convenient with a number of trams stopping directly outside and easy to get to CBD and also to St Kilda (walked to St Kilda for brunch). Would happily stay again
The location was quiet good, however when you climb into bed and the top sheet did not even cover the bed, what can I say it's NOT GOOD :-(
very friendly and helpful staff and a most comfortable stay. so close to tram stop too.
Short 3 night stay in a Heritage suite. Very comfortable and roomy suite. Location between St Kilda and downtown suited us well. The reception and restaurant staff were always helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet a little limited, that is the only small negative I could complain about and really no big deal.
We stayed for two night in this hotel. It is nice and close to the city, you can caught one tram to the city. only the issue is the bad smell in the hall heading to the rooms.
Was a bit sceptical when i booked this place, due to d reviews I read. Changed my mind d moment I stepped in d room. Worried over nothing. Really comfy for 3 nights. Staff at reception was extremely helpful. Satisfied with washer, dryer, hair dryer & microwave oven. There was iron and board but didn't use. Found d toaster in d overhead cupboard on top of d cooking absorber and electric kettle rusted inside, don't dare to use both. Sofa had a small hole.
Excellent Value for the inclusions. Upgrage, parking and Wifi Tram outside the door. Good breakfast available. Parking can be tricky until you are used to it(car lift) Great staff Would recommend with better room
My wife and I stayed here NYE and value for the location was great compared to other places close to Melbourne. Only a short 10 min tram trip into central Melbourne. We paid $20 more which gave us the kitchenette and a separate bedroom area. Our only complaint (more a comment ) was that some of the furniture was a bit dated.
Nice hotel. No pool was a bit of a let down for one of us. Room was tidy and in good order. Have stayed before and have not noticed this, but the bed in the room we were given this time was hard and a little uncomfortable. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Good value for money, but you'd need to take a tram trip into the CBD. You couldn't walk it unless you had a long time to get where you were going.
Great hotel, bit far out from city but only a tram/cab ride away. Booked 2 bedroom apt and disappointed we got adjoining rooms with doors that would not stay open, so the key was required each time when going from room to room. It was promised that this be fixed which wasn't done. Otherwise, great staff and nice hotel.
Booked for one night to attend a CBD function. location was excellent, room large and comfortable. the only downside was the slightly undersized bedrom and bed. A pity the weather wasnt better to take advantage of the huge balcony.
Friendly staff, very disappointed by the general cleanliness upon leaving the elevator to our room the carpet was not clean and the area in front of our room looked like a construction crew had been walking in and out and it stayed that way till we left, also the floors in the room were not that clean if you walked around the room in bare feet they turned black and the carpet also was dirty. I felt that the $15 parking fee was a bit over the top considering what you pay to stay, should have been complimentary.
We love staying with Seasons, lovely cosy apartments with everything you need. A home away from home!
